Impact Hub Lusaka greatly invests in the skill sets of its staff. Hence, as part of skills development, the Impact Hub Lusaka team took part in a six (6) month capacity building programme between March, 2021 and August, 2021 called the BMW - Survive to Thrive.
Survive to Thrive was a wholly virtual program aimed at assisting African businesses in dealing with the unanticipated problems posed by Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Participants learned how to prepare for and deal with a variety of challenges such as reduced revenue, cash flow, supply chain disruptions, remote staff, shifting business strategies through interactive webinars, online courses, practical tools, and networking with other African businesses. The Impact Hub Lusaka team participated adequately, earning various individual certifications involving finance, sales and marketing as well as human resource.
